Dead Ernest in large print

Dead Ernest is now available in a large print edition (published by Magna).

A Dutch publishing company has bought the rights to publish The Birds, The Bees and Other Secrets. A Pan paperback edition is to be published next year, probably in September.

There will be a sigining - with complementary wine - in the gallery at Devizes Books on Saturday 6th.September between 11am and 1pm. Please do come, bring your friends and buy a book!.

Latest news - two French publishing companies have been competing for the French rights for The Birds, The Bees and Other Secrets, and Macmilan have just reached a very satisfactory agreement with one of them.

I have been invited by BBC Wiltshire Radio to do a five-part series on writing in general and my novels in particular. This is being broadcast every afternoon at 2.15pm from 11th-15th August.

LATEST ON DEAD ERNEST - Dead Ernest is in the early stages of development into a film for television. This will be really exciting if it comes off, but the process is quite a long one. However, dotted lines have been signed, so I am cautiously optimistic.

The launch of The Birds, The Bees and Other Secrets took place at Goldsboro Books on 7th August, and was very well-attended. Everyone seemed to enjoy the evneing (and Goldsboro's generous hospitality) and all the copies were sold. Many thanks to Goldsboro for giving the book a wonderful send-off, and for all their hard work.
